FACILITATOR TRAINING

Satori Dance is a style of dance therapy.

A space to decompress the tensions accumulated in the body, an opportunity to re-energize body and mind through music and movement, to breathe and restore our vitality.
A place for men and women to move freely and spontaneously.

In these times, when we accumulate knots in our throats and bodies, Satori arises as a therapeutic resource for release.
When we are able to free our tensions and experience catharsis through dance, we can reach deeper levels of relaxation and peace.

to dance yourself

The proposal is

to celebrate life, to sweat your emotions, and finally to become a dancing silence.
We believe in the body as a vehicle for liberation, healing, and transcendence.
We dance as a prayer to life.

In Satori, you don’t need to know how to dance — you just need to surrender and allow the music and rhythms to move your body.

Satori unites our studies in dance therapy inspired by Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythms, Maria Fux, Ayurveda, Somatic practices, and our experience as instructors of oriental dances (Arabic, Egyptian, and Indian) for over 15 years.

The class flows through five rhythms represented by the elements air, earth, fire, water, and space.
The ultimate purpose is to enter a state of silence, depth, calmness, and expanded awareness of Being.

“Energy moves in waves.
Waves move in patterns.
Patterns move in rhythms.
A human being is just energy, waves, patterns, rhythms.
Nothing more, nothing less. A dance.”

— Gabrielle Roth
